Install the Microsoft 365 Apps on Mobile ​

Microsoft 365 for Business accounts can install the Microsoft 365 apps on up to five tablets and five mobile devices. Additionally, Microsoft 365 for Business Standard and Premium accounts can install the Microsoft 365 desktop apps on up to five computers.

If you're unsure which type of account you have, check with your administrator.

Install the Microsoft 365 Copilot App ​

The Microsoft 365 Copilot app serves as a dashboard for your account, providing quick access to your work and a seamless way to resume tasks across devices. It also offers a simple way to install and access other Microsoft 365 apps, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.

While this guide utilizes the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, it is not required. You can find a list of Microsoft 365 apps and app store links on the Microsoft 365 Mobile page or search for them directly in your device's app store.

TIP

Have your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account details ready, as you may be asked for them during installation.

  1. Visit https://aka.ms/AppstoreDirect on your mobile device and follow the instructions for your device type (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  2. Install and open the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
  3. Tap "Existing Microsoft 365 Users? Sign In" and sign in.

Install Other Microsoft 365 Apps ​

TIP

Have your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account details ready, as you may be asked for them during installation.

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
  2. Tap the Apps icon ().
  3. From the list of apps, find the app you want and tap "Install". This will open the app's page in your device's app store.
  4. Tap the install button.
  5. Some apps, such as Outlook and OneDrive, may require you to sign in or add your account before they can be used.
